Royal Mail Video Brochure
Case Study
The Client: Royal Mail
The Company: Royal Mail Group Limited, operates the brands Royal Mail (letters) and Parcelforce Worldwide (parcels). General Logistics Systems, an international logistics company, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Mail Group. The company provides mail collection and delivery services throughout the UK. Letters are deposited in a pillar or wall box, taken to a post office, or collected in bulk from businesses.
The Challenge: Royal Mail, a government-owned postal service in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland started a new division called “Market Reach” in 2012. This division is dedicated to Direct Mail Marketing. They planned a marketing campaign that would promote the use of Royal Mail for direct mailer services to their loyal corporate customers.
The Solution: A explainer video was decided as the best option to push their services. Royal Mail wanted their video to be shared among their corporate clients and build awareness for months after their services were launched. They used our video brochures to launch their new division and introduced the products and services in the form a video and photo slide show to their Corporate Clients. The VPP video brochures were handed out at their launch event at the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum.
The Success: The video brochure created a huge buzz among their corporate clients and generated good leads and business opportunites for many months after the launch and gave them a permanent foothold in the direct mailer distribution sector the fruits of which they reap even to the present day.
